Bisons To Hold Canned Food Drive, June 27-30

The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, have teamed up with the Food Bank of Western New York and WGRZ Channel 2 to put some "Cans in the Seats" with a Canned Food Drive at Coca-Cola Field, June 27-30.

Any fan that donates two canned food items or $2.00 at the Bisons games from Saturday, June 27 - Tuesday, June 30 will receive a 2-for-1 ticket voucher for the Herd's game against the Toledo Mud Hens on Thursday, July 16.

Collection bins will be available at the Swan St. entrance to Coca-Cola Field starting one hour before first pitch for each game.

-Saturday, June 27 - Tuesday, June 30

-Coca-Cola Field

-Bring in any two canned food items or $2.00 donation.

-Receive 2-for-1 ticket voucher to July 16 Bisons game.

The Food Bank of Western New York services over 360 member agencies in Erie, Niagara, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties. Over 1.2 million meals are served monthly. Residentially, the Food Bank serves over 96,000 people, of which 39% are children and 11% are seniors.
