TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons face the Louisville Bats in the third game of a four-game series from Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). The Herd snapped a season-long seven-game losing streak with the 9-4 win yesterday. Buffalo will host the Durham Bulls for a four-game set beginning on Saturday. The Bisons are 20-18 at Coca-Cola Field this season.

vs. BATS: The Bisons are 1-1 against Louisville this season. In 2011, the Herd went 4-4 against the Bats after splitting each series in Buffalo and Louisville. Since their return to the International League in 1998, the Bisons are 61-53 (.535) overall against the Bats and are 35-23 (.603) at Coca-Cola Field.

McHUGH: RHP COLLIN McHUGH will make his Coca-Cola Field debut tonight. His first two Triple-A starts came on the road last week. McHugh is 0-2 with an 8.10ERA and 11 strikeouts in 10.0 innings of work with the Bisons. In 12 starts with Double-A Binghamton, he was 5-5 with a 2.41ERA and 65 strikeouts in 74.2 innings.

MVP: Recently named International League All-Star OF VALENTINO PASCUCCI went 3-3 yesterday with three doubles and 5RBI. He is now second on the Bisons with 14 doubles and continues to lead the team with 50 runs batted in. The slugger is the first Bison player to have three doubles in a game since OF FERNANDO MARTINEZ on August 5, 2011 at Pawtucket.

LEWIS: With three runs scored in yesterday's contest, OF FRED LEWIS is now tied with OF VALENTINO PASCUCCI for the team lead with 37 runs scored. Lewis currently leads the Herd in batting average (.302), triples (6), and stolen bases (11). His average is 10th best in the International League.

ALL-STARS: The Pacific Coast League announced its 2012 All-Star Team today. Their squad includes Oklahoma City slugger and former Bisons INF MIKE HESSMAN. Hessman has 23 homers for the RedHawks. He hit 18 in only 64 games with the Bisons in 2010. Yesterday, RP FERNANDO CABRERA, SP MATT HARVEY, and OF VALENTINO PASCUCCI were named IL All-Stars.

METS UPDATE : The Mets (40-36) defeated the Cubs yesterday after scoring a season-high 17 runs. Former Bison LHP JON NIESE tossed 7.0 innings of one-run baseball with six strikeouts. As a team, New York hit four home runs, including a grand-slam from OF SCOTT HAIRSTON, and six doubles, including two from INF IKE DAVIS. The Mets begin a four-game series from Dodger Stadium tonight (10:10 p.m.).
