TODAY'S GAME: This afternoon, the Buffalo Bisons take on the Indianapolis Indians in the second game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (1:05 p.m.). The Herd has won four straight, including an 11-6 victory in last night's series opener. Buffalo's 14 wins at home are tied for the second most in the International League (Lehigh Valley -16).

vs. INDIANS: The Bisons are now 1-0 against the Indians this season. The Herd is looking to reverse Indy's recent success at Coca-Cola Field as Buffalo has not won the home portion of this match-up since taking three of four in 2004. The two teams have evenly split 112 games (56-56) since the Bisons returned to the IL in 1998.

ON THE BUMP: RHP JACK EGBERT gets the spot start with Jeremy Hefner's promotion to New York on Saturday. Egbert has made 15 appearances out of the bullpen. The veteran already has scoreless outings streaks of five games (April 7-17, 7.1IP) and six games (April 27-May 11, 8.2IP). Egbert's season-long appearance was three scoreless frames on April 27 against Rochester.

THREE HOMERS: OF VINNY ROTTINO joined Jeff Manto (1997), Dusty Wathan (2005) and teammate Valentino Pascucci (2010) as the only Bisons players to hit three home runs in a game at Coca-Cola Field. Rottino was the eight different Bisons hitter to accomplish the feat in the modern era (Russell Branyan twice). For Rottino, it was the second multi-homer game of his career. He hit a pair of homers for Single-A Beloit on August 26, 2004.

HITTING HERD: The Bisons team batting average of .280 is nine points better than any team in the International League. Buffalo also has five more homers than any other team and is second with 210 runs scored. The team has scored 8.5 runs a game during their current four-game winning streak.

BISONS BITS: The six home runs hit by the Herd Saturday were their most in a game since hitting a modern-era record seven on July 2, 2004...OF VINNY ROTTINO is now hitting .316, tied for the 6th-best average in the IL...OF VALENTINO PASCUCCI is now just one homer shy of becoming only the sixth Bisons player in the modern era to reach the 50-home run mark with the club. He ranks third in the IL this season with 11 home runs.

METS UPDATE : The Mets' (21-19) lost 2-0 to the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday. Recently promoted RHP JEREMY HEFNER took a tough loss after allowing just two runs in five innings of work. The Mets conclude their series in Toronto today at 1:07p.m.
