The IronPigs (25-17) play Game Two of a four-game series against the last-place Louisville Bats (14-30) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 9-2 loss last night, the Pigs snapped their four-game shutout streak, five-game winning streak and six-game home winning streak. Still, the Pigs have won five of their last six games and are 8-2 in their last 10 contests. After finishing 4-4 on the eight-game, West Division road trip, the Pigs are now 4-1 on this eight-game, West Division homestand... The Bats -- Cincinnati's top affiliate -- have now won two of their last three games -- the first time they've that since April 27-29. Even so, the Bats have gone just 5-16 in their last 21 affairs and own the third-worst record in MiLB (Rome, 9-32; West Virginia, 13-29).
RHP Tyler Cloyd (4-0, 0.69) will start for LHV against RHP Pedro Villarreal (1-0, 3.65)
Today features a Thrown Back Jersey Auction with proceeds benefitting the Women's 5K Classic. First-Pitch is at 1:35 p.m.
