Today's Game
Tonight, the Bisons take on the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in the finale of a three-game series at Coca-Cola Park (7:05 p.m.). The Bisons have lost four in a row to fall to 65-66 on the season. The Herd has just 14 games remaining in 2015, with the final seven-game homestand starting on Thursday night against Pawtucket at Coca-Cola Field.
vs. the IronPigs
The Bisons are 9-8 against the IronPigs this year heading into tonight's final contest between the two teams. Buffalo won the first seven games with Lehigh Valley rebounding to take eight of 10 from the Herd. A win will give the Bisons their fourth straight season series victory over the IronPigs.
Scott Copeland
RHP SCOTT COPELAND is 10-4 this year with the 3rd-lowest ERA (2.43) in the International League. Copeland is just 6 points behind Charlotte's Erik Johnson for the league lead. The righty is the Bisons' first 10-game winner since Dillon Gee (13) and Pat Mish (11) in 2010. Copeland is 5-1 with a 2.40 ERA in seven starts since the break.
MattVP
INF MATT HAGUE has four hits in two games since his return to the Bisons. The veteran is on pace for 184 hits this season, which would break Jhonny Peralta's modern era team record of 181 during his MVP season in 2004. Hague leads the IL in average (.350) by 38 points and also paces the circuit in on-base pct. (.430) and slugging pct. (.484).
Blue Jays claim Roach
The Blue Jays claimed RHP DONN ROACH off waivers from the Reds on Tuesday. Roach was 2-4 with a 6.00 ERA in seven starts for Louisville but began the year going 7-2 with a 2.33 ERA in 15 starts for Triple-A Iowa. Roach is expected to join the Bisons this week.

The Bisons rank 2nd in the IL in both most walks drawn (457) and fewest strikeouts (793)...LHP COLT HYNES has made 10 straight scoreless appearances, allowing just four hits in his last 9.2 innings of work...INF MATT HAGUE'S 86 RBI are the most in a season since DH Valentino Pascucci drove home 91 runs in 2011...The Bisons lead the league with 997 runners left on base, 34 more than any other club.
Blue Jays Update
The Blue Jays (70-55) are back in first place in the AL East division thanks to their 6-5 win in Texas last night. Toronto scored two in the 9th inning on Troy Tulowitzki's RBI-single and a Rangers' fielding error. The Blue Jays take on Texas again tonight at 8:05 p.m.
