Buffalo Bisons News Release
The Buffalo Bisons, in partnership with SLR Contracting & Service Company, Inc., are pleased to announce plans for The SLR Contracting -Premier Media & Conference Suite to be built at Coca-Cola Field. Once completed, this one-of-a-kind, multi-purpose suite will offer a game day experience like no other in Western New York, while also serving as a unique setting for corporate and off-site business meetings.
Designed by Architectural Resources, "The SLR Contracting -Premier Media & Conference Suite" will be available for game-day and non-game day rentals year round starting in July 2010. Fully-functioning with telephone and video conferencing capabilities, four 52" flat screen media monitors and independent internet access, this premier suite brings the boardroom to the ballpark and allows for a seamless transition from afternoon meetings to baseball evenings.
Once constructed, a special media preview will be announced prior to the suite's official opening.
"Bisons games have long-served as a location for office gatherings and corporate events, but before now, Coca-Cola Field has never been capable of servicing local businesses with their own privately-enclosed business center," said Christopher Hill, Director of Sales for the Buffalo Bisons. "We are extremely pleased to be working with SLR Contracting & Service Company, Inc. and Architectural Resources on this exciting project."
"The Buffalo Bisons are a first class organization which we are very proud to be associated with, said Brian Tubin, Vice President of SLR Contracting. "We are all looking forward to the completion of the suite so that the community can begin to enjoy this exceptional multi-purpose ballpark experience. Many thanks to the Bisons, our design partner Architectural Resources and our tremendous team of suppliers and subcontractors."
The SLR Contracting -Premier Media & Conference Suite will be available for rental year-round with catering offered by Pettibones Grille Restaurant. The interior of the suite, which will be located on the first base side of Coca-Cola Field, will be themed as "the re-birth of Buffalo." The design by Architectural Resources includes steel frame construction and concrete slab ceiling panels countered by hardwood flooring to create a business casual atmosphere like no other. Fully enclosed, the suite will provide its renters with a level of privacy, while still being close to all the action on the field.
The suite's high-end media center equipment include telephone and video conferencing capabilities on four 50" flat screen televisions. The suite will also feature a standard full size 12' x 4' conference table, a private bar area with stools, a walk-in coat room, a private restroom and several lower-round 24" cocktail tables.
