The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, today activated RHP Lance Broadway and LHP Adam Bostick to their roster. Broadway was acquired by the Mets in a trade with the Chicago White Sox on Friday while Bostick has been promoted from Binghamton (AA).
Both players will be in uniform for today's game in Durham against the Bulls (5:05 p.m.). Yesterday, the Bisons placed INF Argenis Reyes on the disabled list with a groin contusion.
Broadway, 25, is 0-1 with a 5.65ERA in eight games with the White Sox this year (16.0IP, 19H, 10R, 9ER, 9BB, 9K). The former first round pick in the 2005 June First Year Player Draft from Texas Christian University made his major league debut in 2007.
