TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Bisons take on the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in the third game of a four-game series from Coca-Cola Park (7:05 p.m.). The Herd has won the first two games of the series, 4-1 and 6-5. The Bisons have now five straight games. This series is the four road games in a stretch where the Bisons play 16 of 20 at home, May 14-June 3.

vs. THE IRONPIGS: With a victory tonight, the Bisons can ensure themselves their first series victory at Coca-Cola Park. Buffalo lost both road series in Lehigh Valley in 2009 and have just one split in four sets at Coca-Cola Park. Overall, the IronPigs hold an 18-16 advantage over the Bisons.

RED HOT HERD: The Bisons have won five consecutive games for the first time since June 28-June 2, 2007. The Herd had seven, four-game win streaks in-between. The last time Buffalo won six games in a row was August 24-30, 2005 when they won seven straight. The Bisons are 27-17 on the season, 10-games over .500 for the first time since they were 75-65 on September 1, 2007.

HIT MACHINE: OF JESUS FELICIANO was named International League Batter of the Week today after five multi-hit efforts in his last seven games. The outfielder enters tonight's game with a team-high 12-game hit streak. In the 12-game stretch since May 12, Feliciano has hit .458 (22-48) with 11 runs scored. Feliciano's .383 average on the year is 34 points higher than any other player. He is also second in the IL with a .435 on-base percentage.

HESS IS THE BEST: INF MIKE HESSMAN collected his 48th RBI on the season yesterday. Hessman now has nine more RBI than any other player in the International League. Hessman also leads the IL in home runs (14), extra-base hits (29) and total bases (105). Hessman is tied for first in runs scored (32) and second in doubles (15) and slugging percentage (.652).

ROSTER MOVE: RHP MANNY ACOSTA has rejoined the Herd after being optioned by the Mets. Acosta was 1-1 with a 3.00ERA in 12 relief appearances for New York. He didn't allow a run in his final seven games out of the Mets' bullpen (6.2IP). To make roster room, C TONY MACCANI has been transferred to Single-A Brooklyn.

METS UPDATE: The Mets (22-23) completed a series win against the rival Yankees with a 6-4 victory over the Bombers on Sunday night. LHP JOHAN SANTANA allowed just one run in 7.2 innings to improve to 4-2 on the season. OF JASON BAY had two home runs and drove in three. The Mets have an off day today before opening a three-game series with the Phillies on Tuesday at Citi Field.
