Montgomery Biscuits News Release
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Montgomery Biscuits will be hosting the annual Meet the Team Gala Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m., this year in Riverwalk Stadium's Club Car Bar.
Big Mo will accompany the Biscuits coaching staff and all twenty-five players at the event, which will give fans a chance to see the 2012 squad up-close. Complimentary hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn, and soda will be available along with a cash bar.
"We're thrilled that the season is finally here," said Biscuits President Greg Rauch. "And we love giving our fans the chance to meet their team before the first pitch is thrown. This is one of our favorite events, and it will be extra special this year being at the ballpark."
Biscuits Broadcaster Joe Davis will introduce the 2012 Biscuits Opening Day roster. Following the introductions, players will be available to mingle and sign autographs.
Fans may enter the Club Car Bar through Riverwalk Stadium's right field gate.
The Biscuits open the season with a ten-game road trip, beginning Thursday night at 7:00 against Pensacola. They'll return to Montgomery for the home-opener Sunday, April 15th against the Mobile BayBears. Tickets are available by visiting or calling the box office at 334-323-2255, or by logging on to biscuitsbaseball.com.
