Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Chattanooga State and the Lookouts delighted fans on Tuesday night with a good old-fashioned pitchers' duel. The Lookouts were able to produce a run in the bottom of the third frame in the seven-inning contest to come away with a 1-0 win.
Nick Buss accounted for the lone run of the game by reaching second on a bunt single and throwing error. After swiping third base, Jake Lemmerman hit a sacrifice fly to right field to plate Buss.
Both teams' pitching staffs proved to be stingy throughout the game, yielding just three hits apiece. JonMichael Redding pitched the second inning for the Lookouts and was credited with the win.
The Chattanooga Lookouts begin their 2012 regular season on Thursday, April 5th against the Tennessee Smokies at AT&T Field. Tickets can be purchased at the Lookouts Box Office at AT&T Field, online at www.lookouts.com, or by calling (423) 267-4849.
