Montgomery Biscuits News Release
MONTGOMERY - Unplayable field conditions after a heavy rainfall postponed the fourth game of a five-game series between the Montgomery Biscuits and Birmingham Barons on Thursday night at Riverwalk Stadium. The game will be made up Friday as part of a doubleheader comprised of two seven-inning games, with the opener starting at 6:05 p.m.
The nightcap will begin approximately 30 minutes after the the first game concludes.
The Biscuits will use right-handed starter Richard De Los Santos in Game 1 as regularly scheduled and righty Wade Townsend in Game 2. The Barons, meanwhile, will flip their right-handed starters, using Brian Omogrosso in Game 1 and Carlos Torres in Game 2.
A ticket to Thursday night's game may be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any 2008 regular season game, pending availability. The exchange may be made in person at the box office.
