
Birmingham Squadron Fall to Oklahoma City 113-111 in Return from All-Star Break

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League Affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, fell to the Oklahoma City Blue, 113-111, in the first game back following the NBA All-Star Break on Thursday night at Legacy Arena.
With 1.9 seconds remaining in the game, Squadron forward Zylan Cheatham was fouled on a three-point shot, but made 1-of-3 from the line.
James Kelly, Sr. notched a double-double while also leading the team in scoring with 18 points and 11 rebounds. All five Squadron starters scored in double-figures, as did reserves Jordan Swing and Javonte Smart.
Oklahoma City was led in scoring by Jahmi'us Ramsey's 27, while Chasson Randle notched 26.
Birmingham returns to the court tomorrow for HBCU Night at Legacy Arena at the BJCC as the Squadron plays host to the College Park Skyhawks. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game can be seen on My68 WABM or NBAGLeague.com.
