
Birmingham Concludes Road Swing with 128-113 Loss at Oklahoma City

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Malcolm Hill and Jalen Crutcher each scored 30 points as the Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, fell 128-113 to the Oklahoma City Blue in a Tuesday matinee.
Hill's 30-piece was a season-high for the Illinois product and his 12 rebounds marks his first double-double of the 2023-24 campaign. Crutcher has now tallied at least 30 points in each of the last two contests.
Guard Landers Nolley II returned to the Squadron (4-5) lineup on Tuesday, coming off the bench for 17 points in 28 minutes of action.
Tre Mann's 26 points led the Blue (6-4) in the scoring column, while Lindy Waters III added 20 and Keyontae Johnson and Ousmane Dieng each tallied 16. Olivier Sarr recorded a double-double for Oklahoma City with 13 points and 13 boards.
Birmingham now returns to Legacy Arena at the BJCC for a three-game homestand, starting with Friday's STEM Fest game, which is set for an 11:30 a.m. tip-off. Friday's game can be seen locally on My68 WABM or nationally on NBAGLeague.com.
