Birds Get Revenge in Game 3, Taking Down the Woodpeckers 11-4

Myrtle Beach struck first with two runs in the second from a two-run RBI by #22 Jacob Wetzel.

Fayetteville would cut the deficit in half with a homerun in the third by #2 Jaxon Hallmark.

With five runs in the fifth, the Pelicans go up 7-1. #5 Ezequiel Pagan would hit the first RBI of the inning. The second would come from an RBI single by #40 Josue Huma. An RBI groundout by #22 Jacob Wetzel would score the Pelicans' fifth run. The last two runs of the inning would come from a two RBI single by #49 Matt Warkentin.

In the top of the seventh, the Woodpeckers would bring the score to 7-3 with two runs of their own. #2 Jaxon Hallmark hits an RBI single to score the first. A wild pitch by the Pelicans' #52 Johzan Oquendo allows the second run to come in.

The Pelicans have another big inning in the bottom of the seventh. #49 Matt Warkentin hits an RBI single to score the first run. #4 Malcom Quintero scores two with his two RBI single. The final run of the seventh would come in from a fieldinmg error, allowing #4 Malcom Quintero to cross home.

Game 3's final run would be scored by the Fayetteville Woodpeckers in the ninth inning from an RBI single by #2 Jaxon Hallmark.
