
'Birds Cancelled in K-Town

Delmarva Shorebirds News Release
KANNAPOLIS, NC - Due to inclement weather and projected forecasts, Monday night's Delmarva Shorebirds-Kannapolis Intimidators game has been cancelled. It will not be made up.
This is the second time in three days the Shorebirds have had a game cancelled after Saturday's would-be showdown with Hagerstown.
The Shorebirds and Intimidators will play a doubleheader on Tuesday evening. Brenan Hanifee (4-2, 2.62) will start Game 1 for Delmarva, followed by Jhon Peluffo (0-1, 10.13) in Game 2. Kannapolis has Lincoln Henzman (5-3, 2.56) and Zach Lewis (1-1, 3.26) penciled in for Games 1 and 2, respectively. First pitch of the opener is set for 5:05 p.m., and pregame coverage on Fox Sports 960 AM and the MiLB First Pitch app begins at 4:50 with Will DeBoer on the call.
