
Bighorns Fall in First Away Game against Bakersfield

RENO, NV - Tonight, the Bakersfield Jam outscored the Reno Bighorns 154-143 in their first game on the road.
Ra'Shad James, led the team in scoring with 25 points. NBA Development League Points Leader, Brady Heslip secured 23 points in just 23 minutes. David Stockton continued to showcase his skills, netting 12 points, three rebounds, and dishing out a remarkable 12 assists.
Eight Bighorns recorded double digits in scoring tonight, including Tajuan Porter scoring 18, with nine assists. David Wear added 17 points, while contributing eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
Bakersfield was led by Xavier Munford with 31 points, while Mac Koshwal finished with 28 points and eight rebounds. Bakersfield's Elijah Millsap had a total of 26 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.
"Bakersfield is a good team, and a very well coached team," said Bighorns head coach Dave Arseneault. "One positive takeaway from the game was that as a team we shared the ball which led us to a lot of quality shots."
The Bighorns hit the road again this week, playing the Idaho Stampede. Reno will return home on Friday, December 12 to once again take on the Idaho.
