MONTGOMERY, AL - A six-run third inning pushed the Biscuits (56-57) out to an early lead, and they'd cruise behind Shane Dyer to beat the Mobile BayBears (67-45) 10-3 Sunday at Riverwalk.

Dyer (6-7) went 7.1, his deepest outing of the season, holding the BayBears to three runs on six hits.

The offense, meanwhile, nailed Mobile starter Bryan Henry (5-3) for ten runs on ten hits over his 5.1. A Tim Beckham two-run double started the scoring in the third. Henry Wrigley would follow with an RBI-single in front of a three-run homer from Kyeong Kang. They'd rack up three more in the fifth on another Wrigley single and a two-run bomb from John Shelby.

The Biscuits, one night after stranding 13 men on base, went 5-11 with runners in scoring position. Wrigley had two hits, as did Craig Albernaz and Matt Sweeney, who doubled twice to extend his hit-streak to a team-best eight games.

With the win, the Biscuits take a series advantage and move back to within 7.5 games of the BayBears with now 27 remaining.

Game four is Monday at 7:05 with Alex Colome squaring off against Wes Roemer.
