Green Bay, Wis.- The Green Bay Bullfrogs rallied for seven runs in the bottom of the second inning and completed the sweep of the Kalamazoo Growlers by a score of 12-7 on Friday night at Joannes Stadium.

Green Bay totaled 15 hits on the night, and eight of the nine players in the lineup recorded hit. Eight players scored a run in the victory.

After a scoreless first inning, neither starter made it past the second. Chad Dullnig picked up the win for Green Bay in 1 1/3 scoreless innings, as the Bullfrogs extended their winning streak to five games.

Ryan Radue shut down the Growlers in order in the first inning but ran into trouble in the second and exceeded the 35-pitch limit. After a pair of singles and a walk, Kory Young connected on a bases-clearing double to the Bud Light Beach Club in leftfield to give Kalamazoo a 3-0 lead.

The Bullfrogs sent 13 to the plate and scored seven runs in the bottom of the second.

With the first two pitches to begin the inning, the Bullfrogs had runners at second and third with a leadoff single for Ryan Donovan, followed by a double for Jack Strunc, who was named Coaches Player of the Game with a three-hit night. Mason George dumped a double down the right-field line to score two runs for Green Bay.

Two batters later, Logan Taylor singled in a run to tie the game, and the Bullfrogs took the lead with a RBI double just short of the left-field wall for Robb Paller. Brian Celsi dropped in a single to score another run extend the lead to two. Donovan connected on a base hit up the middle to make it a 7-3 game.

Bullfrogs' reliever Luke Van Lanen walked in a run with the bases loaded, and Justin Fletcher's fielder's choice scored another in the fourth. Jordan Stading hit a RBI double to score another run, and Paller misplayed the ball in rightfield, allowing Justin Fletcher to score and tie the game at seven.

Green Bay immediately grabbed the lead right back with consecutive doubles by Celsi and Mikey Duarte to begin the bottom of the fourth inning to take an 8-7 advantage.

Celsi recorded three hits, including two doubles, two RBI and a run scored for Green Bay.

The Bullfrogs added to their lead in the fifth with a RBI double to left for Paller. Rosenbaum hit a ball high in the sky that dropped in the infield for a RBI single. Duarte singled to right, and John Soteropulos bobbled the ball, which allowed Paller to score and give Green Bay an 11-7 lead.

Strunc connected on a line-drive solo home run over the left-field wall for an insurance run in the bottom of the eighth to give the Bullfrogs a five-run advantage.

Jake Stolley finished the game with two shutout innings and two strikeouts.

Green Bay will begin a six-game road trip tomorrow against the Kenosha Kingfish. The Bullfrogs return to Joannes Stadium on July 18 for a two-game series with the Kingfish before the All-Star break.
