FC Dallas News Release
FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas forward Bernard Kamungo has been named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Matchday presented by Audi for Matchday 38. This is the second time this season Kamungo has earned the award after being named to the bench for Matchday 26.
Kamungo collected this selection after a dominant two goal performance in Dallas' 4-1 win at LA Galaxy on Saturday. His opening goal in the fourth minute gave Dallas the early momentum and he added an insurance goal in the 30' to extend the lead to 3-1 to give him his first brace of his career.
The 21-year-old finished the regular season tied for second on the squad with the most goals scored (6) and ranks second across all MLS for the most goals per 90 (1.1) among players with at least three goals or more.
