Bennett, Wolves Corral Rampage for Fifth Consecutive Win

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Center Beau Bennett registered four points for the second time in his career to help the Chicago Wolves to a 5-2 victory over the San Antonio Rampage on Tuesday night at AT&T Center.
Bennett collected two goals and two assists while Oscar Dansk (6-0-1) made 29 saves en route to his sixth straight win. Teemu Pulkkinen (G, A) and T.J. Tynan (2A) earned two points on the evening. Tynan's pair of points pushed him over the 50-point threshold for the first time in his career. Defenseman Jake Bischoff and forward Tobias Lindberg also scored for the Wolves.
Dansk's shutout streak against the Rampage (27-24-9-0) ended just 4:08 into the first period when former Wolves center Andrew Agozzino netted his 14th goal of the season.
In the second period, at 7:41, the Wolves (32-18-6-2) knotted the game 1-1. Bennett made a gorgeous pass from the slot to the doorstep to Pulkkinen, and Pulkkinen shot the puck into an empty net.
A little more than a minute later, the Wolves took the lead in the game for the first time. This time, Pulkkinen fed Bennett on the rush and he scored for the 2-1 lead.
Chicago took a 3-1 lead at 12:04 when Bischoff scored his second goal in three games since returning to the lineup. However, the Rampage cut the Wolves' lead to 3-2 when Brendan Ranford put the puck past Dansk at 16:27.
Then, 32 seconds later, Chicago again led by a pair of goals, 4-2, as Lindberg scored on a 3-on-2 rush with assistance from Bennett and Scooter Vaughan. The assist was Bennett's third point of the period.
In the third frame, Bennett netted his second goal of the game - fourth point of the night - as the Wolves cashed in on a 5-on-3 power play to take a 5-2 lead at 8:50.
Ville Husso (13-11-5) - who backstopped the Wolves during the 2016-17 campaign - made 27 saves in the loss.
