Bell to play first WHL game tonight

Regina, Saskatchewan - Regina Pats 2008 first round (17th overall) bantam pick, Myles Bell, will make his Western Hockey League debut tonight against the Chilliwack Bruins. The 6'0" 185 pound defenceman arrived in Vancouver yesterday for practice, and wowed the coaches enough to let him stay with the team this week.

With the Northwest Calgary Flames this season, Bell has 7 points in 16 games as well as tallying 47 minutes in penalties.

Bell will remain with the Pats for tomorrow night's game against the WHL's top team in the Vancouver Giants, before returning to Calgary this weekend. The Pats will have two more stops after that in Kelowna on Friday and Red Deer on Sunday before returning home to welcome the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday December 12th.
