Bees Fall in Game One of Series

Burlington- IA - The Dayton Dragons offense erupted to score six runs in the top of the eighth inning breaking a 2- 2 tie. The Bees could not recover falling to the Dragons 10- 2 seeing their three game winning streak come to an end.

The Bees fell behind early for the second game in a row when Sammy Diaz doubled in a run in the top of the second giving the Dragons a 1- 0 lead.

Dayton Dragons starting pitcher Ismael Guillon struggled with his command in the second inning walking four straight Bees' batters tying the game at one In the next at bat Kirby Pellant picked up his first RBI of the season with a sacrafice fly scoring Ranyelmy Mendoza and giving the Bees a 2- 1 lead.

Guillon would settle down however and with the help of the bullpen the Bees would not be able to get anything going.

With the game tied at 2- 2 in the top of the eighth inning the Dragons scored six runs highlighted by a Sammy Diaz two run triple that put the Dragons up 8- 2.

The Dragons offense kept on firing scoring two more in the ninth as the Bees fall 10- 2 Dragons relief pitcher Alejandro Chacin 1- 0 picked up the win for Dayton while Victor Alcantara 0- 1 suffered the loss.
