The St. Louis Blues announced today that they have reassigned goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu from the AHL's Peoria Rivermen to the ECHL's Alaska Aces.

The 23-year-old netminder made his NHL debut earlier this season with the Blues, stopping 8-of-9 shots in a no decision against the Kings in Los Angeles on February 21, 2008. Beckford-Tseu started the year with Alaska , going 7-1-0 with a 2.16 GAA and .927 save percentage to earn him a promotion to the Rivermen.

While in Peoria, the Toronto, Ontario native posted a 15-11-2 mark with a 2.55 GAA and .900 save percentage.

He will join the Aces for this weekend's action while Peoria heads out on the road to face the Milwaukee Admirals Friday and Sunday, sandwiching in a game against the Chicago Wovles on Saturday night. All three games can be heard live on your Home for Rivermen Hockey, 96.5 FM ESPN Radio, or via the internet at www.rivermen.net for the B2 Networks audio and video feeds of the game.
