Peoria Rivermen Assistant Coach Brent Thompson invites all Mini Mite, Mite, and Squirt age players to attend his Peoria Rivermen Hockey School from August 4-9, 2008 at the Owens Center.

The Rivermen Hockey School is designed to teach your child the basic skills of hockey including proper positioning, stick handling, passing, shooting, power skating, teamwork, confidence, and much more.

Each day will consist of NHL/AHL caliber instruction on and off the ice. There will be dry land training, snack time (snack not included), two ice sessions and lots of fun!

On Saturday, August 9, the skaters will be split into two teams for a full three period game.

Certified athletic trainers will be on hand all week.

The school will run from August 4-9 from 8-2 pm at the Owens Center, located at 1019 W. Lake Street in Peoria. Cost is $295 per player, with a 10% discount for additional siblings.
