The Long Branch, N.J., native sits in a tie for fourth in the CL with nine homers, and his .487 slugging percentage is fourth-best on the circuit. Farrell, who will start the game as the Carolina League's designated hitter, earned a Midseason All-Star selection three times while with the Pirates organization. He officially signed with the White Sox on April 5.
