Beavers postponed on Monday due to rain

PORTLAND, Ore. - Monday's Portland Beavers game against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox was postponed due to rain and will be made up as part of a doubleheader at PGE Park on Saturday, Aug. 13, it was announced today.

The Aug. 13 doubleheader will feature two seven-inning games, with a first pitch of 5:05 p.m.

Tickets for Monday's postponed game are good for admission to any remaining regular-season game for the Beavers in 2005. Tickets may be exchanged in-person at the PGE Park box office during regular box office hours.

The Beavers (14-15) begin an eight-game road trip on Tuesday, May 10. Portland travels to Albuquerque for four games and concludes the road swing with a four-game series at Round Rock, Texas, May 14-17. The Beavers return to PGE Park on Thursday, May 19, entertaining Memphis and Nashville in an eight-game homestand that runs through May 26.

Portland's Chris Oxspring (1-2, 4.55) will face Albuquerque's Frank Castillo (3-2, 3.79) on Tuesday. First pitch is 6:05 p.m. (Pacific) and will be broadcast live on KKAD AM-1550, beginning at 5:40 p.m.
