
Beavers place Rodriguez on disabled list, reinstate Venable

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Beavers today placed infielder Luis Rodriguez on the disabled list (retroactive to April 27) with a right hook of hamate fracture and reinstated outfielder Will Venable from the disabled list.
Rodriguez, 27, is batting .400 (20-for-50) with two doubles, one triple, one home run and eight RBIs in 15 games for Portland this season.
Venable, 25, was placed on the disabled list April 19 (retroactive to April 17) with a left shoulder strain. In 12 games with Portland, he is batting .356 (16-for-45) with six doubles, one triple and eight RBIs.
The Beavers roster remains at its 24-man limit.
