Beaupre Called up to AHL's Lake Erie Monsters

DENVER - The Denver Cutthroats announced today that rookie defenseman Gabriel Beaupre has been called up to the team's American Hockey League affiliate, the Lake Erie Monsters.

The 20-year-old Beaupre (boh-PRAY) becomes the fourth player from the Cutthroats roster to be called up to the AHL this season (Markus Lauridsen, Jamie MacQueen, and Dean Strong).

Beaupre began the season in training camp with Lake Erie before being assigned to the Cutthroats for the start of the 2012-13 regular season. In 28 games for Denver he tallied three goals and five assists with a plus-5 rating.

The Cutthroats visit the Rapid City Rush on Wednesday at 6:35 PM MST.
