Hershey Bears News Release

Coming off back-to-back road wins in New England, HERSHEY travels to Bridgeport Sunday in search of the club's 40th win, and also the 90-point plateau. The BEARS play the club's 64th game of the season Sunday at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Connecticut.

The BEARS set a franchise record Saturday in Portland for road wins in a single season. Saturday's 3-2 win at the Cumberland County Civic Center placed HERSHEY in the win column for the 21st time this season away from home. Kyle Wilson scored the game-winning goal midway through the third period to put the game on ice, and Jeff Pietrasiak won his second game of the season. Bridgeport won Saturday night at home against Philadelphia 5-4, scoring all five markers in the third period.

Sunday's game is a game-in-hand for the BEARS against the front-running Norfolk Admirals. HERSHEY is five points behind Norfolk with four games in hand as the puck drops at the Arena at Harbor Yard. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton is in action Sunday at Rochester at 6:05 p.m. HERSHEY'S game against the Sound Tigers can be heard via the BEARS Radio Network (100.1 FM, 1490-AM, 960-AM) beginning at 2:40 p.m. with the pregame show. John Walton has the call of the game from Bridgeport.
