Bears kickoff three games in three nights tonight in Norfolk
January 21, 2005 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Hershey Bears News Release
The game in Norfolk precedes home games Saturday night and Sunday afternoon at GIANT Center as the BEARS bring Philadelphia and Binghamton to town this weekend. The BEARS look for revenge tonight after Norfolk broke HERSHEY'S seven game win streak last Sunday.
The BEARS begin play tonight in fifth place in the East Division, and all three games this weekend come against teams that HERSHEY is chasing. The Admirals lead the BEARS by nine points for third place going into tonight's game, but HERSHEY also has three games in hand on Norfolk. There are also two games remaining between the clubs during the regular season, with HERSHEY returing to eastern Virginia on February 18 and the Admirals coming to GIANT Center for the final time this season on March 13.
Tonight's game can be heard on the BEARS radio network and www.pennlive.com. John Walton calls the action from Hampton Roads beginning at 7:10 p.m. with the pregame show. Tickets for Saturday's game with Philadelphia and Sunday's game with Binghamton are available through the GIANT Center box office or by calling (717) 534-3911.
