Make sure you're in attendance this weekend for two more big games as the Rayz hit the home stretch of the season on Rivalry Weekend. This Friday and Saturday Night the Rayz will host two crucial games at the American Bank Center when a pair of big division rivals come to town. One fan will win an $8,000 diamond ring at the game - GUARANTEED. Then on Saturday, it's the much anticipated return to the American Bank Center for the Laredo Bucks. The last time the Rayz and Bucks met in Corpus Christi was on Jan. 28th in the Rayz most inspirational comeback win in franchise history. The Rayz have beaten Laredo three straight times and look to make it four in a row in a battle of the top two teams in the Southern Conference. The intensity is high and the points are valuable. Make sure you're a part of Rivalry Weekend this Friday and Saturday Night at the American Bank Center. Great seats are still available. Call 361.814.PUCK for more information.
Corpus Christi has points in 13 of their last 17 games and won a dozen of those. The Rayz trail the Bucks by just seven points in the race for the top spot in the Southern Conference. The final 13 games against Corpus Christi will all be against conference opponents. On January 28th, Corpus Christi and Laredo combined for 192 penalty minutes, a goaltender fight, six player ejections and a coach ejection before Corpus Christi scored three late goals and won 5-4 in a shootout. Since that game, the Rayz went on to sweep the Bucks in a two-game set in Laredo. Don't miss out on the Bucks return to Corpus Christi this Saturday Night at 8:05pm. With four more games remaining in the season series, each contest is pivotal in the Rayz comeback effort in the standings. Plus, kick off the weekend Friday Night when the Austin Ice Bats are in town and you could win an $8,000 diamond ring. Registration is free at Fine Jewelry Outlet in Moore Plaza, next to Target.
