
BC Lions Sign Punter Josh Bartel

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club today announced that punter Josh Bartel has been signed by the team.
Bartel (6'3", 200) joins the Lions after spending the past four seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and two campaigns with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The Wodonga, Australia native has appeared in 103 regular season games over six CFL seasons notching a 43.4-yard average (34.7 net avg.) on more than 700 career punts. A two-time West Division All-Star in 2012 and 2013, Bartel has landed 64 punts inside the 10 yard-line.
