Erie, Pennsylvania - The Erie BayHawks finished a sweep of back-to-back games against the Delaware 87ers with a 140-119 win on Saturday night in their home finale. One night after scoring a franchise record 158 points, the BayHawks poured in 140 to tie the league record for points in consecutive games with 298.

Erie (16-31) scored the game's first five points and never looked back. The BayHawks tied a franchise record with 42 first quarter points on their way to holding an 18 point lead after one. The BayHawks extended their lead to a game high 29 points on a Scott Suggs jumper with just over four minutes left in the half. At the break, Erie held a 76-48 advantage over Delaware (12-36).

Micah Downs paced Erie in the first half with 17 points while Suggs and Justin Brownlee each chipped in with 16. Thanasis Antetokounmpo led Delaware with 10 points.

Delaware was able to cut Erie's lead to 15 in the third quarter thanks to 10 points and seven rebounds from Norvel Pelle in the frame. The Sevens closed the gap to 14 with 8:24 left in the game before Erie pulled away down the stretch and downed Delaware 140-119.

Downs led all scorers with 32 points, including six three-pointers for the BayHawks. Suggs finished with 24 points while Terence Jennings added 20 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for Erie. Antetokounmpo and Josh Akognon paced Delaware with 18 points each. Elijah Pittman and Rodney Williams both scored 17 points for the 87ers.

Erie will head west for their final three games of the season as they face Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Delaware returns home for two games against the Springfield Armor starting on Friday to finish their inaugural season.
