MOBILE -- The Mobile BayBears (32-30) hit five home runs in a 10-3 battering of the Montgomery Biscuits at Hank Aaron Stadium Friday night, snapping a six-game winning streak by the Biscuits.

The first five runs came against BIscuits ace Chris Mason before any batters were retired in the first. Emilio Bonifacio led off with a single, Jared Ball doubled and Justin Upton walked, setting the stage for a grand slam by Javier Brito. Carlos Gonzalez followed with a home run of his own, making it 5-0.

The BayBears pinned six runs on Mason in his three innings. He suffered his second loss of the year.

Mobile added three runs against reliever Brett Wayne in the fourth inning on two homers: a solo shot by Wilkin Castillo and a two-run bomb by Upton.

In the seventh inning, new Biscuit Kevin Lynn made his Double-A pitching debut. He was welcomed to the level by Gonzalez, who hit a 400-foot home run to center field for his second homer of the game.

The Biscuits' only runs followed an error in the fifth inning. With two outs and two on, Evan Longoria popped up to third baseman Cesar Nicolas, who dropped the ball. Jason Pridie followed with an RBI double.

The five home runs are the most ever given up by the Biscuits.

The middle game of the series is Saturday night at 7:05 with Montgomery lefty James Houser (3-1) against Mobile righthander Esmerling Vasquez (4-4).
