In the third inning with the score tied 2-2, Davidson reached on a throwing error that resulted in Chris Owings and Krauss both crossing home plate to give Mobile a 4-2 advantage. Nick extended the BayBears lead 6-2, with a two-run double in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Pensacola's only two runs came in the top of the third inning when Billy Hamilton and Ryan LaMarre scored on back-to-back RBI singles from Beau Mills and Donald Lutz.
