
Generals Even Up Series With Stars

Huntsville Stars News Release
After taking the series opener on Thursday night, the Huntsville Stars fell to the Jackson Generals on Friday night by a score of 7-3 at Pringles Park. Jackson was led by starting pitcher Tijuan Walker, who improved to 6-5 on the season after limiting the Stars to one run in six innings of work. For the Stars, starting pitcher Evan Anundsen fell to 5-6 on the year with the loss after giving up four runs and five hits in five innings. On offense, the Stars got an RBI double from first baseman Hunter Morris in the first inning and a two-run inside-the-park homer from left fielder Lee Haydel in the seventh inning.
The Stars will wrap up a four-game set and their season series with the Generals with a doubleheader on Saturday. First pitch of game one is at 5:05 PM.
