Bay FC Founders to Join Earthquakes for USWNT vs. Netherlands World Cup Viewing Party on Wednesday, July 26

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes will host Bay FC co-founders Brandi Chastain, Danielle Slaton, and CEO Brady Stewart at the PayPal Park watch party for the United States Women's National Team's World Cup match against the Netherlands on Wednesday, July 26 Chastain and Slaton will speak before the match and provide guests with halftime commentary.

Stewart, Earthquakes President Jared Shawlee and San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan will join Chastain and Slaton in sharing a message with attendees at 5:30 pm before the match kicks off at 6 p.m. At halftime, Chastain and Slaton will give live match analysis at the Epicenter.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase and food trucks will also be on site. The night will feature activities, prize giveaways and more. The viewing party is free to enter, and doors open at 5 pm.

Bay FC and the Earthquakes announced last week that the new women's football club will call PayPal Park its initial home stadium for its inaugural season in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) in 2024. Bay FC will also be investing more than $3M in a world-class, 3,600-square-foot standalone facility adjacent to the stadium that will house the team's locker room and other accommodations.

PayPal Park has hosted five sellout matches for the USWNT (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2023), including a packed house on July 9 for the U.S. vs Wales 2023 World Cup send-off match. Additionally, hundreds attended a viewing party at PayPal Park for the USWNT's opening match against Vietnam on Friday. The Earthquakes will host another watch party for the USA vs Portugal match on August 1, with more events to be announced.
