 Bay Area Panthers News Release
San Jose, CA - The energy was buzzing at SAP Center on Monday night, as the Bay Area Panthers hosted the Bismarck Bucks on Marshawn Lynch Bobblehead Night. Both squads came out aggressive, trading scores back and forth, including a timely fumble recovery for a touchdown by Jeffrey Allison. The game had all the makings to be a nail-biter, until one minute left in the first half when consecutive scores by the Bucks sent them into halftime on a high note, on top by a score of 44-31.
The second half saw the Bucks put their foot on the gas and never look back. Penalties added up against the Panthers, who had a hard time containing the Bucks offense drive after drive. In the end it was the Bucks who came out on top 76-46 over the home team
Panthers Head Coach Kurt Bryan post game: "We've improved a lot over the past few weeks and it shows." Coach Bryan said, "Those Bucks scores in the last 33-seconds of the first half opened up the game for them after a tie at 31 ." Bryan's finally commented, "our players are working hard and we're getting better as a team."
The Panthers will travel to Sioux Falls, South Dakota to face the Storm on April 22.
