Storm Prepare for Three-Game Home Stretch

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (2-3) are back at home on Friday, April 22 to take on the Bay Area Panthers (1-4) for the first matchup to date at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. The show is set for 6:45 PM.

The game is presented by A&B Business Solutions and will be giving the first 500 kids a Storm Replica Jersey. Doors open at 6 PM.

Last week the Storm lost their third straight game to the Iowa Barnstormers 37-47. Quarterback Daniel Smith went 20-for-31 with 207 yards, two touchdowns, a rushing touchdown, and an interception. Wide Receivers Carlos Thompson Jr. had four catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns and Tim Keith had eight receptions for 53 yards. Linebacker Marquis Hendrix led the way with 13 tackles and defensive back Mike Alvarez with 10 tackles. Defensive backs Famus Hasty and Ta'Cordian Darden each had five tackles and one interception.

The Bay Area Panthers come off a tough loss to the Bismarck Bucks 46-76. In this game, quarterback Cory Murphy went 5-for-10 with 60 yards, one passing touchdown, two rushing touchdowns and three interceptions. Wide receiver Daniel Crowell Jr. had 4 receiving catches for 56 yards and one touchdown. Defensive back Marcellus Pippins led the defensive side with nine tackles and forced one fumble and middle linebacker Derik Calhoun had eight tackles.

The Sioux Falls Storm will have an ASL interpreter at every home game for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community; seats are recommended in sections 124, 101 and 102.
