
IFL Announces Week Six Players of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Indoor Football League is proud to announce the Players of the Week for Week 6 of the 2022 season. Duke City's Quarterback, Ramone Atkins took Offensive Player of the Week. Northern Arizona Wranglers Defensive Lineman, JaQuan Artis earned Defensive Player of the Week. Special Teams Player of the Week goes to Kicker Bryce Crawford of the Frisco Fighters.
Ramone Atkins - OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Atkins had a career day completing 29 of 38 passes for 291 yards and seven touchdowns Duke City Gladiators defeated the Tucson Sugar Skulls 57-52 at the Rio Rancho Events Center. With 15-seconds remaining in the game, Atkins threw one right up the middle to a wide-open Elmore to get the game-winning Gladiators touchdown. The Gladiators have won two in a row and are catching stride at the right time.
JaQuan Artis - DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
The Northern Arizona Wranglers defense has been superlative. The Wranglers here won three consecutive games and are allowing an average 22.5 points per game. Defensive Lineman JaQuan Artis led the defensive front against the Vegas Knight Hawks. Artis chalked up six total tackles, two and a half tackles for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles and one pass break-up.
Bryce Crawford - SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
The Frisco Fighters won their fourth straight game on Saturday. They put up the most points in franchise history to defeat the Quad City Steamwheelers 68-51. Kicker Bryce Crawford accounted for 14 total points after he made 9-of-9 extra point kicks, a 30-yard field goals and completed a deuce.
