BarStool Racing to Invade 95KGGO Arena

URBANDALE, IA: Blackbeard Management and the Des Moines Buccaneers announce that they have joined with the IBRA (International BarStool Racing Association) to present the 95KGGO Hawkeye State Twin 30's BarStool Races on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 95KGGO Arena. Doors open at 6:00 pm with races beginning at 7:30 pm.
The event includes a full lineup of qualifying races, 'B' mains, a celebrity race and a 30-lap 'A' Main feature that pays $5,000 to win. Adults (18 or over) who are interested in participating may register at www.barstoolraces.com. Entry fee is $250.00
General admission ticket prices are $15 for adults, $7 for students 17 & under, with children 3 & under free. Tickets may be purchased at the 95KGGO Arena box office, by calling (515) 278-9757 or online at www.bucshockey.com.
About the IBRA
The International BarStool Racing Association was formed in 2006 with the intent to provide racers a chance to win big money in the off season, and at the same time provide fans the opportunity to watch top names in motorsports battle against each other in a family-friendly and entertaining environment. On Saturday, March 31, the IBRA packs up and heads east for the second event in the series with a stop in Waterloo, Iowa, at the National Cattle Congress. Again, racing starts at 7:30 with the winner of 'A' Main 30-lap event receiving a $5,000 purse.
At the conclusion of both nights the IBRA will award the racer that has the most combined points from both events a barstool race kart.
