
Fireworks Follow RoughRiders Game Saturday

Cedar Rapids, Iowa- A special St. Patrick's Day fireworks display will follow the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders' game this Saturday against the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.
The explosive action on the ice starts at 7:05PM as the RoughRiders and Blue Jackets meet at the ice arena for the final time this season. The fireworks will begin immediately after the end of the game.
Fans will also have the chance to take to the ice to rub elbows with their favorite players Saturday night. All those in attendance will be able to skate with the RoughRiders following the game. Skate rental is available through the ice arena for $3.
Saturday night's game will be the third in four nights for the Riders, who defeated the Sioux City Musketeers 6-4 last night to take over sole possession of first place in the United States Hockey League's East Division. The Riders (30-15-3, 63 points) will visit the Omaha Lancers Friday night before returning home to meet Ohio the following evening.
Tickets for all remaining RoughRiders regular season home games- including Saturday night's game- are now on sale. Tickets are available for purchase in person at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office, over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or online at roughridershockey.com. The ticket office is open from noon to 5:00PM on weekdays and from noon through the end of the second period on game days. Ticket prices range from $7 to $17 in advance and from $8 to $18 on game days.
