Barons to Appear at Lorain County Fair

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Barons will take part in the Lorain County Fair from Monday, August 18 to Sunday, August 24th. The Barons will have a promotional table at the fair throughout the week's festivities.

On Tuesday, August 19th, Barons head coach Roy Sommer will meet and greet fair-goers from 3-5pm. Sommer will be on hand to sign autographs at the booth 333 located in between the Grange Cafeteria and the Matia Chevy Display.

On Wednesday, August 20th, Barons mascot SlapShark will be in attendance from 3-5pm. SlapShark will be part of the Lorain County Fair's Kids Day festivities that will be held all day Wednesday.

For ticket information, call the Lorain County Fair by phoning 440-647-2781 or visit their website at www.loraincountyfair.com. The fairgrounds are located on 23000 Fairgrounds Blvd., in Wellington. Parking for the event is free of charge.

On Saturday, August 23rd, Sommer and SlapShark will take a respite from the Lorain County Fair to appear at Barons Hockey Fest from 12-6pm at IceLand USA in Strongsville.
