Iowa Barnstormers News Release

The Iowa Barnstormers return home to Wells Fargo Arena this Saturday night when they face the Green Bay Blizzard. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:05pm. Iowa (7-3) enters the game on a four game winning streak, while Green Bay (6-4) has won three of their last four contests. Both teams have identical 5-1 records in Midwest division play, making this game arguably the biggest game for the Barnstormers since their return to af2 in 2008. The teams met earlier this season with Iowa coming out on top by a score of 46-41.

The Barnstormers have teamed up with MDA to make Saturday night's game our first ever "Shirt off Your Back" night. Throughout the game there will be a silent auction taking place on the arena concourse. The auction will consist of Barnstormers game-worn jerseys and other collectables. Following the game, the winning bidders will be brought onto the field where they will receive their game-worn autographed jersey. All proceeds from this great event will benefit MDA. MDA would like to thank Waste Management and Sportclips for their support.

Saturday night is also our first ever $1.00 hot dog night with the Barnstormers, so bring the whole family to the game. Tickets are on sale now for as low as $12.00. Log on to www.theiowabarnstormers.com or call (515)633-2255 to order.
