Barnstormers to Give Away "Ultimate Mother's Day Package"

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League are pleased to announce that they have partnered with local businesses and team sponsors to bring you the "Ultimate Mother's Day Package". All mom's in attendance at the Barnstormers May 12 home game vs. Kansas City will be eligible to win the package, valued at over $1,000. "This is a great way to kick-off Mother's Day weekend, and should be fun for all of the mom's in attendance", stated Barnstormers General Manager John Pettit. All Mom's will register on their way into Wells Fargo Arena with one lucky winner announced during the fourth quarter.
So far, prizes for the Ultimate Mother's day Package include a two night stay at Chase Inn & Suites, Dinner for two at Court Ave Brewing, 3 hours of Limousine service courtesy of Blu Nite Limo, gift cards courtesy of Hy-Vee and Casey's, an autographed football, lunch with a Barnstormers player or coach, a spa/tanning package plus much more.
In continuation of the mother's day theme, the Barnstormers also announced today that one of a kind "pink" football's will be used for the May 12 home game. In addition, the Barnstormers have had several of these footballs signed by celebrities that have local Iowa and professional football ties. These celebrities currently include Super Bowl winning quarterback John Elway, Olympic Champions Shawn Johnson and Dan Gable, NASCAR Champion Rusty Wallace and Master's Champion Golfer Zach Johnson. The celebrity signed footballs will be auctioned off during the game on the arena concourse in a special silent auction. Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the Mercy Cancer Center and the Katzmann Breast Center.
