NEW ORLEANS (May 2, 2012) - Earlier this week, we sat down with New Orleans VooDoo Doll Gia for this week's "21 Questions with a VooDoo Doll" segment brought to you by Arata and Arata Law Offices. Gia is a rookie on this year's team. Each and every game week, a VooDoo Doll will be featured, and this is the seventh installment of the 2012 season.
If you could be any Disney princess who would it be and why:
Ariel, something about being a mermaid just appeals to me, and I wouldn't mind having her killer voice!
One word to describe yourself and why:
Enthusiastic. I'm always excited about everything I pursue in life, and try to stay upbeat and positive about what life throws at me.
Favorite clothing store:
Foi boutique in Metairie. They have the most diverse and cutest clothing selection! I always get compliments whenever I wear any of their clothes!
Favorite nail polish color:
Passion by OPI looks so natural with a hit of Pink!
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why:
If I could have one super power it would be to fly! I'm sick of driving, it takes entirely too long!
If you had a time machine, what time period would you travel to and why:
I would travel back to the late 1920s. I've always wanted to be a flapper!
Are you a cat or dog person:
Dog person! They are so sweet and I just love when they just look straight into your eyes!
Favorite season:
Summer! You can wear bright clothes, hang out in the sun, and my birthday happens to fall in the summer!
Favorite childhood memory:
Riding our go-kart at the spillway!
Favorite TV show:
Modern Family. That show makes me literally laugh out loud. I love every character!
If you could be one super hero who would it be and why:
Batman! He has an awesome suit, awesome car, and is a millionaire by day!
Favorite cartoon show growing up:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I would always pretend that I was April O'Neal, and narrate and report on all of our home videos.
Favorite all-time movie:
Some Like it Hot. It's such a great genuine comedy, has an awesome soundtrack, and every loves a little Marilyn.
Destiny's Child's Beyonce or Beyonce now:
Beyonce now. She's so fierce. I love everything she sings.
Your biggest guilty pleasure:
Going to The Fairgrounds! I love everything about it: The atmosphere, the horses, and winning a few dollars here and there.
Favorite way you like your shrimp cooked (fried, boiled, BBQ, etc.):
BBQ! Yum with French bread to dip!
Text or phone call kind of girl:
Phone call!! I love talking, and it's hard to tell a person's tone from a text.
Favorite part about Preauxs versus Jeauxs:
Starting and ending the same play. with a touchdown! Geaux blue team!
Favorite VooDoo player:
Marlon Favorite. He was an excellent defensive coach for our flag football team.
What top 5 things would be on your bucket list:
The top 5 things on my Bucket list are: visit Italy, ride in a hot air balloon, visit a vineyard in California, go white water rafting, and go whale watching!
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do:
I would pay off any debt that my closest friends and family had, and take them all to Disney World.
