Barnstormers Sign Defensive Lineman

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed defensive lineman Marqualin "Woo" Scott to the 2023 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.
Scott (6-2, 315, Eastern Michigan University) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his rookie Indoor Football League (IFL) season. Collegiately, Scott spent four years at Eastern Michigan University. While at Eastern Michigan, Scott appeared in 42 games with the Eagles collecting 104 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks.
"Big Woo is a dynamic defensive lineman who is big enough to play the nose, but athletic enough to play edge," said Head Coach Mogensen. "He was a major force his senior year at Eastern Michigan and gained a lot of NFL attention. He will bring a major edge to our defensive line this season."
