CHICAGO - Iowa Barnstormers QB J.J. Raterink has been named the Week 13 AFL MVP, as voted on by Arena Football League fans.
Raterink (6-2, 210, Wyoming) passed for 376 yards and tied a career-high with nine touchdowns in Iowa's 73-68 victory over the San Jose Sabercats in Week 13. The fourth-year pro finished the night with a 130.3 passer rating, marking his fourth consecutive contest with a triple-digit passer rating.
Fans had 24 hours to vote for the award on ArenaFootball.com. Other candidates included New Orleans VooDoo QB Kurt Rocco and Utah Blaze QB Jason Boltus.
