
Storm Presents "Dodgeball For A Cause" Tournament

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm and the Tampa Bay Times Forum are partnering with 620 WDAE to present the 4th Annual Charity "Dodgeball For A Cause" Tournament. The event will help benefit the Jackson In Action 83 Foundation, a charity founded by Tampa Bay Buccaneer Vincent Jackson. The foundation is a non-profit 501c3 organization that is dedicated to helping United States Military servicemen and servicewomen stay connected with their children during deployments away from home.
The tournament will take place on Saturday, July 20th from 10:00am - 3:00pm on Amalie Oil Field at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Registration is open to the public with 96 team slots available. Each team will consist of six players with an entry fee of $150, with a majority of the proceeds benefitting the Jackson In Action 83 Foundation. Each team will also receive six tickets to that evening's Tampa Bay Storm matchup against the Pittsburgh Power. Kickoff for the game is set for 7:30pm.
The winning team will receive six tickets to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers home opener against the New Orleans Saints on September 15th, six tickets to opening night of the Tampa Bay Lightning's 2013-14 season, six Storm home playoff game tickets (if applicable), and six ArenaBowl tickets as well.
The event will be open to the public to watch, free of charge. Donation and raffle opportunities will be available on the concourse at the Forum during the tournament.
Sign-ups are on a first come, first served basis.
All participants must be 18 years of age or older, and must sign a waiver form that will be emailed to the team captain.
