July 10, 2019 - Atlantic League (AtL)
Lancaster Stormers News Release

Each of the four position players representing the Lancaster Barnstormers collected at least one hit on Wednesday night in the annual Atlantic League All-Star Game, played at People's Bank Park in York.

The game itself ended in a 3-3 tie. Both clubs were out of available pitching at the end of the ninth, and the contest was halted. The Freedom Division won a "homer-off" on a blast by York's Isaias Tejeda, who also hit a two-run blast in the game.

Lancaster outfielder Caleb Gindl banged a double to right field off High Point's Joe Van Meter in the second inning for the first Lancaster hit of the night. Second baseman Dan Gamache picked up the first of his two singles, a grounder into left field in the third. In the fourth, designated hitter Joe Terdoslavich sliced a two-out double to left field and scored on a single to center by Welington Dotel. Gamache added a single to center.

Catcher Anderson De La Rosa, the only one of the four, not to start, singled in the bottom of the ninth for the Freedom Division's 13th and final hit of the game.

Somerset's Michael Ohlman gave the Liberty Division a 2-0 lead off Southern Maryland's Daryl Thompson in the top of the second with a homer to left following a walk to his Patriots teammate Will Kengor.

Following the Dotel RBI single in the fourth, the game remained 2-1 until Tejeda's long ball off High Point's Brian Clark with his fellow Revolution member Ryan Dent on board.

New Britain catcher Logan Moore homered with two outs in the ninth off Lancaster closer Cody Eppley to tie the game.

The Liberty Division finished the night with seven hits. Lancaster's contingent was a combined 5-for-11 on the night.
